Honor Guard performs in Folds of Honor Ceremony

On July 26, 2021, members of the Saratoga National Cemetery Color Guard and Honor Guard performed a Flag Folding ceremony to benefit the Folds of Honor nonprofit organization. The Folded Flag Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the U.S. military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.

The ceremony took place at the Edison Club in Rexford, NY. It was attended by the HGA Color Guard and Flag Detail.

To quote Brad Gardner, the Edison Club PGA Pro: “I just wanted to thank you and your crew again for coming down to Edison yesterday. To take a break from your family vacation like that to come down and perform that ceremony is exceptional, but then writing what you did for me was above and beyond. Thank you. You fine gentlemen impressed a lot of people and dare I say it was the highlight of the day for many.”

Below is a video of the ceremony that took place.
