Well, it was a hot afternoon but we had around 20 family and 30 – 40 Honor Guard members and at least 3 Saratoga Ladies on hand for our ceremony this afternoon. Our Cemetery Director, Mr. Scott Lamb was on hand with April making sure everything was going ok.
Scott had his team set up a tent for family and our members to sit under while the rifle squad had another one set up for them to sit in the shade.
Vice Commander Don Boone emceed the event and Norm Schultheiss was the Chaplain.
Laura Lemoine of the Tuesday Squad read the Honor Scroll of our deceased members then the Tuesday Squad did a really good job with the rifle volleys followed by Taps being played by a real bugler.
The ceremony was very nice and the families were proud of their loved ones service to our association and grateful that we remembered them with this event.
